Tim Fetherston-Dilke is the eldest son of Lt-Cdr J T Fetherston-Dilke CBE, former Chief Coastguard, and the nephew of Captain Charles Fetherston-Dilke, who lived in Maxstoke Castle. It is now lived in by Charles' son Michael and their family. Tim Fetherston-Dilke is a patron of the arts and a senior executive at Accenture where he is Finance Director for the UK and Ireland.
Fetherston-Dilke (born 1958) was educated at Dunannie, Beeston Hall, St Anthony House, Oundle School, and Queens' College, Cambridge, where he graduated in natural sciences in 1980. He qualified as a management accountant, awarded by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1983.
Fetherston Dilke has worked at the Royal Institution, British Petroleum and Accenture.
